travel and exploration 3-16
these pictures were taken in pigeon forge tennessee at a cabin that i stayed in over the weekend. most of these were different views that we had from outside our window and it was an absolutely amazing place to stay. thee are a lot of pictures of the fog because i thought it was absolutely fascinating.

I love the fact that you tried the early morning foggy scene. Some of the best times to shoot is early in the morning with low contrast. Good variety as usual both with the scenes and a few with people and animals. Great angles on several to, your compostion looks good.

wow, i agree with herzog about the variety and the composition. my favorites are definitely the second, fifth, eleventh, last, and the one on the left where there are two side-by-side. what i love about photography that a lot of people don’t realize is that it’s a study of light, and you did a great job showing what light does, esp with the reflections on the wet deck and in the window, and how the fog dims it. i also thought it was really cool how some of them are really dimmed down by the fog, but some of them still have really vibrant color, despite the overcast weather.

i really like these. especially the very first one with the broken reflections. i also like the one of the fog with the rail at the bottom. and nice rule of thirds on the dog pictures. this place looks like the place we stayed at in pigeon forge.
