travel and exploration 4-27

09-04-27-06009-04-27-057These lovely phots were taken at the duck pond really close to my house.  the sun was setting and it was beautiful outside so it was a perfect chance to take me some pictures.  there was also an adorable little puppy there named Kiwi who I did not hesitate to take glamour shots of. enjoy!

  1. I really like the fact that you experimented with the low light levels and reflections. Those always add a nice dramatic effect to photos. You shot a few of your horizons on eye level and centered them. If you have a nice sky, put 2/3’3 of it in the frame. Don’t forget your rule of thirds even with landscapes, otherwise, photos looked very serene.

Aww, these are adorable! I love the ducks. My favorites (as fars as quality goes) are the honeysuckles and the dog against the wall. I agree with Herzog about the reflections. The only advice I have is to avoid the cluttered areas where there is a lot of debris. It takes away from the subject. Good job Kristi!

i really like these!!! my favorite is the one with the sunlight coming through the trees. i agree with sammi on not cluttering up the photo with as much wildlife as possible. maybe keep it simple in some of the photos.
